About KILLABOMB
KILLABOMB is a DJ, producer, promoter, and pioneer of the underground electronic music scene, originally from São Paulo, Brazil, and based in East London since 2001.
In 2000, he founded DIRRUBA, one of Brazil's first events dedicated to Breakcore, Hardcore, Gabber, and other forms of extreme electronic music. At a time when these sounds were virtually unknown in the country, DIRRUBA became a platform for experimentation and helped introduce a new generation of listeners to faster BPMs, distorted rhythms, and unconventional electronic music.
Growing up in São Paulo, KILLABOMB was heavily influenced by the city's cultural diversity and underground music movements. His passion for pushing sonic boundaries led him to explore the outer edges of Drum and Bass, Breakcore, Hardcore, Industrial, and Noise music, developing a distinctive sound built around hard kicks, fractured amen breaks, distorted textures, dark atmospheres, and relentless energy.
After relocating to London in 2001, he became deeply involved in the city's underground electronic music culture, contributing to independent events, warehouse parties, sound system gatherings, and experimental music projects. During this period he became a key member of Pokora Sound System and helped establish Rave Against The Machine, a long running event series dedicated to uncompromising underground electronic music.
Throughout his career, KILLABOMB has been involved in several influential projects including DIRRUBA, DISSONANT, MORTALBASS, Pokora Sound System, and Rave Against The Machine.
His productions have been released on vinyl through respected underground labels including Jigsore Records and Skyride 09, while digital releases have appeared on labels across Europe, South America and Asia.
Over the past two decades, KILLABOMB has performed in more than 30 cities across Europe and South America, appearing at clubs, festivals, warehouses, sound system events and underground gatherings.
More than twenty years after launching DIRRUBA, KILLABOMB continues to champion underground electronic music through DJ performances, music production, event organisation and international collaborations.
